Yes, you are right. After a brief meeting with MAS and GIA, the Association, A.S.I.A., in short for ASSOCIATION OF SINGAPORE INSURANCE AGENTS, was formally registered with the Registry of Societies on 1st November 2004.
It was indeed a milestone or history created for all Agents in the industry. We have come a long way that we finally band together to form a body of our own, an association of GI agents where we are all proud to belong to.
Membership is open to ALL Registered General Insurance Agents, Individual or Corporate. More than a hundred agents have already enrolled as members and have been very supportive towards a common goal.
